Managed IT Services
We design, secure, and maintain the technology foundations that allow Irish businesses to scale with confidence.
At Miktek Services, we specialise in empowering businesses by taking total, expert control of their physical IT infrastructure. Our core expertise lies in the full project lifecycle of designing, deploying, and maintaining highly reliable, secure, and resilient IT foundations.
From mission-critical Data Centre Smart Hands support and high-performance structured cabling to optimized network routing and retail EPOS installations, we engineer the background technology that allows Irish operations to confidently scale, protect their data, and maintain 24/7 high-availability.
Secure Server Rack & IT Decommissioning
Ensure 24/7 high-availability, professional operational continuity, and flawless execution for your mission-critical server environments and data center infrastructure. Serving as your expert on-site eyes and hands, we act under the remote guidance of your engineering teams to deliver seamless Level 1 support. Whether you are executing a complex hardware refresh, expanding rack allocations, or requiring urgent component replacements, we provide responsive hardware installation, meticulous labeling, and proactive alarm monitoring. We follow strict site operational standards, change management protocols, and health and safety requirements to keep your critical pathways running without interruption.
Structured Cabling (Cat6 / Cat6a)
High-performance data cabling is the central nervous system of any modern business. We provide certified Cat6 and Cat6a structured cabling installations with precision patch panel terminations for offices, industrial hubs, and commercial spaces. A messy comms cabinet causes packet loss and slow troubleshooting; our network rack tidy-up services restore absolute order. Every copper run is strictly tested for speed, cross-talk, and structural integrity, ensuring your network infrastructure is entirely future-proof.
Network Router & Switch Configuration
Build a highly resilient digital foundation with professional network engineering. We specialize in the configuration, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-grade switches, firewalls, and routers from industry-leading brands like Ubiquiti (UniFi), MikroTik, and Cisco. Our engineering-led approach prioritizes absolute network security through strict VLAN segmentation, robust corporate firewall policies, and optimized port management designed to safeguard business data.
Commercial EPOS Solutions & Point of Sale Deployments
We specialize in the physical and technical setup of checkout environments for retail, hospitality, and restaurants. Our field engineers handle everything from data cabling and peripheral integration to multi-unit network configurations and the secure decommissioning of legacy hardware. Bring your software of choice, and we will ensure your system is perfectly installed with zero business downtime.
